Stevens Ideal "Walnut Hill" Rifle No. 49  # 1085 very early model with Stevens scope. The 28 inch half round/octagon heavy barrel is chambered for 32-40. It also sports the standard anterior Globe and posterior vernier ladder tang peep site. Interior condition of the barrel is excellent and exterior of barrel and scope show honest wear- certainly not abused. The well scroll engraved 44 1/2 falling block  action retains faded case colors and a closed loop lever. The semi-fancy walnut pistol grip stock has most off its original finish as the fine checkering and its Swiss type butt plate and high cheek piece. This Steven model is the most sought after and often requested by single shot competitors and enthusiasts. $6500

Tom Morrow     American Custom Rifle  #119389 by Tom Morrow of Freedom, New Hampshire, An extrordinary magazine rifle built on an original 1936 magnum double square bridge Oberndorf Mauser action as a 9.3x64 Brenneke. All accessories other than the action sport some small scroll engraving. The full pistol grip has a trap door case colored and engraved grip cap. The butt stock has a belt loop and a shadow cheek piece for right hand shooter. The total weight of the rifle without the scope and mounts is 9-2.
